The Washington State Department of Transportation is working with the community to develop a preferred solution for each of these project elements. We invite you to share feedback on the project and the solutions we have come up with.

Why is this project happening?

Rapid growth and development in the Snoqualmie Valley have made the I-90/SR 18 interchange one of the busiest in the state. This interchange serves people who live and work in the area, as well as freight haulers and cross-state travelers. Backups near the interchange are common during peak periods and busy travel weekends. Congestion at the interchange affects access to and from the City of Snoqualmie, contributes to delays in trucking goods to and from ports, warehouses and stores in the area and adds to safety issues. The I-90/SR 18 Interchange and Weigh/Inspection Station Improvements project will improve traffic flow through the interchange, decrease congestion and reduce the number of collisions.

What are the project components?

The I-90/SR 18 Interchange and Weigh/Inspection Station Improvements project consists of three elements:

What is the project timeline?
